Starting as Newbies
Not so long ago, my big guy and I were brand new campers without a clue how to camp in a teardrop. But, we have learned a few things since we first began and want to share what we have learned. So, these camping resources are written for new campers and this page is an attempt to display our most useful posts in a format that is easy to access.
We began camping in a NuCamp T@G MAX XL. Therefore, most of the camping resources are coming from the perspective of teardrop camping, which has its own set of rewards and challenges. Our T@G certainly provided many wonderful camping experiences for almost three years.
However, we next had a nüCamp T@B 400 and it brought a new level of complexity and additional resources for this page. It was a wonderful camper! We also had this camper for almost three years.
After we got our sweet goldendoodle, we felt that a larger camper was needed. Our choice was a Lance 2075 camper. It is much bigger than our previous campers, but still not as large as many campers. It is 25 feet but it doesn’t have a slide. The downside is that we don’t fit everywhere like we did before. However, a big plus is that we are much more comfortable when we have to stay inside.
